The Libraries of the Faculties of Humanities and Theology offer seminars and workshops in the field of scholarly communication, aimed at doctoral students, researchers and other employees at the Faculties of Humanities and Theology. The team working with research support at the HT Libraries also organises customised meetings/workshops for research groups, departments etc. Subjects such as Open Access, evaluation of publications are covered, as well as other aspects of scholarly communication. Tuesday, October 11, 09.15-10.00 (Sociologen G125) The HT Libraries and the Social Sciences Faculty Library invite faculty employees to a seminar with Carl Petersson at Lund University's legal division. The seminar will primarily address the relationship between research data, copyright, the principle of public access to official documents, confidentiality and personal details. We will base the discussion on the participants' questions and experiences. This seminar will be held in Swedish.EndNote

If you have not previously used EndNote, you are welcome to an introduction on October 18. If you have already been to the introduction, or have used EndNote previously and wish to learn more, you are welcome to our continuation course on November 1.
LUCRIS Workshop
Wednesday, October 19, 10.00-12.00 (SOL: B210) After the transition from LUP to LUCRIS as Lund University's research information system, you as researcher are required to look over your research output entries by October 18. This to ensure that your research is presented in the best possible way. Do you have any questions with regards to adding or updating your research output entries or personal profile? The HT-libraries invites you to a drop-in workshop where you can get support using LUCRIS, as well as other research related matters. Together with our colleagues at the Publication Series in Humanities and Theology, we present different ways of making books freely available. We give practical advice on general areas of consideration when publishing a book, both as author and publisher. Furthermore, we will discuss questions related to how one can control the conditions for reuse using creative commons licenses, what a DOI is and how it works as well as how old books can be made OA.
Research Applications Workshop
Session 1: Wednesday, 16 November 13.15-16.00 (LUX:B240)Session 2: Wednesday, 18 January, 13.15-16.00 (LUX:B240) In preparation of the 2017 research applications to the Swedish Research Council and Riksbankens Jubileumsfond, HT repeats the workshop on research applications from last year. The workshop is especially focussed on how the HT IT Unit, the Humanities Lab and the HT Libraries can assist with writing applications and project implementation. In the first session, Niclas Burenholt will talk about his experiences of writing reseach project applications. In addition, the IT Unit, the Humanities Lab and the HT Libraries will present their services and how they can be of help during the research and project phase. The second session will be visited by researchers who share their experiences of writing and evaluating applications. In the lead up to this session, the participants are given the opportunity to get individual feedback on their application drafts with focus on research overview, visibility and data management. The workshops are arranged by the HT Research Board, the HT Libraries, the HT IT Unit and the Humanities Laboratory.
