Programme Spring 2023
Welcome to our seminars and workshops in the field of scholarly communication, for doctoral students, researchers and other employees at the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology. The research support team is happy to arrange a meeting or workshop on a particular topic such as open access publishing, evaluation of publications, or research data management should you, your research group, division or department be interested.
LUCRIS Drop-In Session
Do you have any questions about how to register or update your information in LUCRIS? Perhaps regarding publications, activities or how to relate them to one another? In advance of the annual research review, the HT Libraries arrange two drop-in sessions where you can get hands-on help using LUCRIS.
Wednesday 11 January 2023, 13:15–15:00, Zoom: https://lu-se.zoom.us/j/66176313630

Improve your visibility
A new webpage has tips on various ways for researchers to improve the visibility of their research: https://www.htbibl.lu.se/en/researcher/visibility/.
The maybe most important things on the list is to connect your ORCID to your LUCRIS-profile, and to keep your profile in LUCRIS/Research Portal updated.
We will be in the SOL-library’s PC-room, SOL:B210, on Thursday 9 March 13-15, to help and answer any questions. We’d gladly arrange more workshops, also for sections/institutions.

Improve Your Profile Page in the Lund University Research Portal and LUCRIS
In this session we will guide you through some key features of the Research Portal, e.g. research Fingerprints, researchers' collaboration maps and more. We will also show the settings you can make in your personal profile by updating information in LUCRIS, as well as answer any queries you might have. Welcome!

Why are there costs involved in open access publishing? Is funding available? What is Diamond OA? What version can I self-archive in LUCRIS?

How to Create a Data Management Plan
Writing a data management plan means exploring the conditions and possibilities for storing, disseminating, archiving etc your research data, which can save time and costs and be a useful tool during your project. In this session, we will give an introduction to what is usually included in a DMP and go through some useful tools and information resources. We will also look at Lund University's tool for data management plans, DMPRoadmap.
More on Data Management Plans and a checklist can be found on our web pages on research data management. Feel free to submit questions in advande or bring them for discussion at the workshop.
